Things I've made

I really enjoy sewing and making things so I am going to post them. These are the dolls I made for Lena and her friend for their birthdays. Lulu's is the red head and Lena's has black hair. Lena's also has a baby but it is in the van and I am not going outside in the cold right now!

blogging again

I was surprised this blog still existed because it has been so long since we've posted. Anyway everyone is doing great. Robby is a Corporal at GPD, Little Robby is 3 1/2, Lena is 2 and I am pregnant again and due 6/9/09. Here are some more recent photos.

It's been forever!

We have not updated this blog in forever. So here is is...
Big Robby is now in Administration at the Gainesville Police Department. He will be taking the Corporals Exam in April...pray he gets it. There is a lot of competition for this position.
I (Megan) am starting with another lady at church a support group for women who have been assaulted. God has opened all the doors for this and it has gone very smooth thus far. Also I started participating in the Early Learning Coalition Parents as Teachers program for the kids and we really like it.
Little Robby will be 3 next month. He is really growing up. He plays football with daddy, and is using the potty, and loves any kind of gummy treat.
Lena is 16 months. She talks all the time about everything. She is a drama queen and a jester at the same time! She is really into her "baby" at the moment.
Tyson (our dog) seems to be recovering well from the stroke he had on Christmas.

And our huge news.........
after 2 1/2 years, we have a dishwasher!!!!!! Courtesy of the Walsh's!!!! If you have always had one, don't cook, or don't have kids you will not appreciate this. It has saved us hours a day! Our house as a whole has benefited from this. We have had it a week and are still stoked about it!

Update

The medical field is getting rich off of us alone and the insurance companies are going down! Little Robby had to go get allergy testing done. He was such a good boy. The first day they did a 15 panel scratch test and the second day they did a 10 panel prick test. Which that is a bad name because they don't just prick, they stick in a needle and inject. Anyway, we've got him taken care of now. Big Robby broke his wrist, separated his shoulder, pulled his calf muscle, sprained his ankle, and was covered in road rash and softball sized bruises after police mountain biking class. Then he continued the class for the next two days. He didn't go to the doctor until a week after it happened. So now he is on light duty for a few weeks.

About our new group. It is working out great. I really love the people and the content of what we are studying. It is really nice to know that we are being prayed for too.

That is it for now. Hopefully no more crazy news from us for a while.

Hello!

It's been a while since our last post. A lot has happened in these past few months. In March my grandmother passed away. We saw all my family and many of them met Little Robby and Lena for the first time. Then the night of the Gator basketball game one of Robby's friends at work was hit by a drunk driver on duty while not in his car and was killed. March was a month of losses for us.

April was fine. Spring reminded me of new life and healing.

Good thing for that because May just got here and has given us some scares. Lena was in the ER because she was passing blood. It turned out to be just a virus. While we were there they found a heart murmur and made it sound scary. She does have a murmur but it it benign. Praise God! The next day Robby's dad Lou went into the ER with chest pain. He is also fine. Praise God!

Tonight is the first night of our new One Another group. One that is fine to have the fruits of our marriages running about. I am excited. It was kind of hard going through all of this stuff with out a group. We have close firends that we talk to but having a group is so nurturing. I am really looking forward to tonight. There are some really awesome Christians in our group I can't wait to learn from, the Gilmore's, Schofields, just some really awesome people. Please pray this group works for us.

Here are some recent pics of the babies. Lena waving and Robby's signature "grumpy face". Lena, only 7 months is crawling all around the house. It's crazy! Robby is into Thomas the train. What boy isn't though? He talks all the time and knows all of his letters! We think he is especially smart! I am sure most parents do, but seriously! Don't they look so much alike? We wonder if we have another one will they look like another clone?

Go Gators!

Here we are with some friends at church playing ball during half-time. Also, Lena is getting big (to us that is, she is in the 25%, typical of the females in our family) 10lbs 14 oz as of last Fri! She is very vocal and talks all the time. She is very easy going and smiley!
